The world is one big playground - at least for those who have committed themselves to at least one of the countless action sports. And the "Adventure Extreme Sports" series shows the viewers where the action is taking place. Why does it have to be this steep wall? Why this surf or, of all things, the mountain stream with the murderous drop? The documentary accompanies adrenaline junkies and extreme sports freaks from all over the world and watch them ski, kayak, mountain bike, surf or do a spectacular BASE jump.
